Much more often than imagined, it happens that you have to track down people who have voluntarily left home without returning.

Given that this type of investigation is characterised by a considerable degree of difficulty, no detail will be overlooked in the search. Although it may seem that a simple piece of information is insignificant, in the context of a broad and complex investigation, it could be relevant and in some cases even decisive in finding a party.

A necessary distinction should be made between parties who have gone away by making themselves untraceable for debt-related reasons (tracing of debtors ) or to escape justice, and those who have gone away of their own free will for no apparent reason, causing their traces to disappear.

Investigations therefore for the search of missing parties in Switzerland and abroad are logically set up on totally different levels.

As a rule of thumb, you always start at the address of residence and/or the place where the party was last seen. Physical inspections and interviews carried out on the spot are imperative; relying also on the cooperation of the parties interviewed, they will be useful in reconstructing the situation and pointing out the right directions to follow.

The investigations conducted by Confidential will subsequently also extend to the contacts and acquaintances of the missing party, trying to reconstruct all the possible connections linking the wanted party to specific people and places. Basically, the searches will take into account and aim to examine in detail the events that took place before the party's disappearance, his or her habits, the people and places he or she frequented, and his or her habitual behaviour, in order to trace and reconstruct the reasons that led him or her to leave.

It is always difficult to trace people who have voluntarily left home for no apparent reason or without leaving in writing the reasons that led them to make such a strong choice, not least because, almost always, at the basis of this radical decision there is a motivation that leads them to cut off and make a clean break with the past.
